Bioclin has implemented a certified environmental management system which ensures that our production operation respects the environment. We have made significant investment to minimise the direct impact of our production activities, both in terms of energy efficiency and general running.
The green origin of the energy used by Bioclin and our levels of traceability adhere with the standards of TUV SUD - an internationally accredited and recognised body. 100% of our electricity comes from renewable water power sources, allowing us to eliminate COâ‚‚ emissions caused by fossil fuels.
Bioclin promotes and develops sustainable policies for managing the water used in its specific production processes, which include: laboratory and production tasks, sanitary use, drinking water, fire prevention and testing on the efficacy and stability of products. In order to guarantee the purity and safety of our products, all of the water we use is taken from the municipal water supply and we use no recycled and/or reused water. All of our water is disposed off into the public sewage system, in accordance with the law.
We ensure controlled waste management across all administrative, production and post-production stages, including transport and disposal. Our system adheres to the Environmental Management System. Bioclin does not import or export waste and has never disposed of waste into the environment.
Bioclin is contributing to COâ‚‚ reabsorption by supporting Treedom, a funding project comprising small agroforestry projects dotted around the world. The ultimate goal of the project is to create sustainable ecosystems and enable thousands of agricultural workers to deal with the initial costs involving in planting new trees, which are incurred when they are not even profitable yet.
The tree species planted respect native biodiversity and - as they grow - absorb COâ‚‚, delivering benefits for the planet as a whole.

The Sustainability Report is a document that describes the initiatives undertaken by our company as part of our sustainability policy. It assesses the impact of our activity from an economic, social and environmental standpoint. The report provides the basis for a process of reflection on the subject of sustainability, exploring its many significant facets and enabling us to devise projects and initiatives for the future.
The Code of Ethics sets out the ethical commitments and responsibilities taken on by anyone who works with Bioclin: from employees to external consultants, suppliers and clients.
In terms of logistics, Bioclin has started a process aimed at progressively reducing road kilometres (by ensuring full loads for all journeys), in favour of inter-modal transport options combining road with rail or sea.
On top of this, Bioclin is working to devise and design packaging that reduces size and simplifies the packaging and transport process as much as possible.
Reducing the volume of packaging has a positive effect on the optimisation of loads transported, thus reducing the number of vehicles on the road and keeping our environmental impact contained.
Bioclin makes a tangible commitment to the environment by supporting partnerships who share the same ideals and commitments, in order to build a better future for all of us and for all future generations with every passing day.
Our partnership with the Slow Food for Biodiversity Foundation has enabled us to support Slow Food organisations in Italy, particularly the Gargano Citrus and Ancient Apples of Etna bodies.
The collaboration has resulted in Bio-Essential Orange, a body and hair cleanser formulated with an organic, sustainable water created from organic blood oranges salvaged from industrial processing, and Bio-Hydra, a trichological line formulated with Etna Green Apple Water, which hydrates, softens and brings shine to hair.
The quality and safety of Bioclin products derives from the meticulous attention shown by all players in the supply chain. Traceability, reciprocity and quality are the values at the heart of our supplier relations. That’s why we only want to work with the best suppliers – those willing to constantly improve and share our sustainable approach and the expertise required to improve product quality.
